AI document translation for non-profits and humanitarian organisations

Donor progress reports

Quarterly and annual donor reports are the primary accountability document between an implementing organisation and its funders. They contain narrative sections alongside structured KPI tables, financial summaries, and beneficiary disaggregation data. all of which must survive translation intact. Ellon AI preserves every table, every budget line code, every grant reference like ECHO/MLI/2025/0147, and every numeric figure exactly as it appears in the source. A report translated for a German development ministry or a French institutional donor arrives with the same structure as the English original, ready for submission without a reformatting pass.

Grant and subgrant agreements

Grant agreements and subgrant contracts go through multiple amendment rounds. budget revisions, programme period extensions, new reporting requirements, procurement threshold changes. Each round produces a new draft that must be compared against the previous version. Uploading both versions to Ellon AI produces a tracked-changes Word document plus a plain-English summary separating substantive changes from formatting edits. For subgrantees operating in different language environments, Ellon AI translates the agreement while preserving all clause numbering, defined terms, and financial schedules intact.

Field situation reports

Situation reports from field operations combine narrative assessment with structured data. beneficiary counts, coverage figures, security incident summaries, and movement tables. They need rapid translation for headquarters review, donor briefings, and cluster coordination. Ellon AI translates field sitreps while preserving all structured data, geographic codes, and incident reference numbers exactly. A sitrep from a French-speaking field team arrives at an English-speaking donor desk in minutes, with every figure in place.

Memoranda of understanding

MOUs with host governments, UN agencies, and implementing partners are negotiated documents that go through multiple drafts. Each draft must be reviewed by legal and programme staff who may work in different languages. Ellon AI translates MOU drafts with clause numbering, defined terms, and obligation schedules intact. and produces tracked-change comparisons when successive drafts need to be reviewed side by side.

Beneficiary documentation

Informed consent forms, registration documents, and service delivery records must be available in local languages to meet ethical and donor compliance requirements. Ellon AI translates these documents accurately and consistently, preserving field codes, site identifiers, and structured data collection formats that field teams rely on.

Data security

Ellon AI does not use your document content for model training and does not share documents with third-party translation services. Beneficiary data, financial information, and field reports are processed within controlled infrastructure. For organisations with data residency requirements or operating under UN security classifications, the Enterprise tier supports dedicated deployment.
